Cheers Guys
Haha well to be fair it is still a lot cheaper with work done myself and all secondhand parts plus selling things taken off. Its been used a lot more than the last one id of been to worried about all ready. Only real expenditure has been paint work, but ive always been of the opinion that it sets a job off when done well, plus it still has to give a good impression with using it for work (or at least I like it to ) Its a black full length front runner Lee so will use the gutters from both parts of roof to spread the weight. Ill get some nicer pics of it all with it on next week. Might even give it a proper road trip this year, Just have to see how things turn out. |

Thanks to Mike (Spikey Mikey on here plus his brother Ben) Got the roof rack on. They even managed to get it to clear the hoop with a bit of work, well chuffed with it. couple of bolts to paint then rear ladders to modify. Backs fully done now and adjusted so it locks properly. Plates been sent off in the post to Dvla so should get that back soon to.

This landy's the nuts! Looks so much better with discrete modifications instead of bling everywhere.

Cheers Guys.
The twisted 18" alloys on it are going in favour of 16" so a bit more versatile. Just sorting a set of twisted 16" alloys offset the same which ill get painted the same white as the car rather than black this time. |

Thanks Hobbsy, yours looks great!
Always liked the ARB front bumpers, but not that common over hear as they are your way. More than that though wish I had a nice beach like that to play on. Dont think i'd be doing any work on my Defender if I lived down under with all that to enjoy! |

Cheers
Nothing done but had a some use earlier with a few bits on the roof. Have some new bits on order for once to arrive aswell! going for 3 more supports on the rack each side so will be every other slat (better support then not just ocd ) and a small 20" led light bar off ebay to go on a second hand aircon Abar I got, should look a bit different then when the white wheels go on next week. |

Looking a bit different now, still got to put more legs on the roof rack and might change the A Bar to one of the little low ones as not sure about it yet. The tyres now are 305 70 16, but ill be looking to change to 255 85 16's when I find some most likely.
Separate note for reference a 305 60 18 tyre on a twisted 18 is very heavy to put on a roof rack and only 4 will fit in the back no matter how much you swear at them |
