Further to the Ford parts, does anyone know if this will fit on a 2.4 puma?

Again, that's around 1/2 what LR want.

I'm pretty certain that that is the same EGR Valve as on the 2.4 Puma

If you refer to this other auction it shows you just how many other cars use the same EGR.

Denmark 1991 Defender 90 200 Tdi ST Alpine White
Hi. It is the same Egr - I bought one here in Denmark at Ford it was 1/2 price. Regarding the turbo - Ford do have the same as on the Puma - they just have several different turbos so you have to be sure. I bought the oil return pipe at ford - also 1/2 price and in stock - Lr had several weeks delivery…

Could be wrong here and I'm sure someone will correct/agree.

The (2.4) engine that was supplied by Ford to Land Rover is the higher powered transit lump as fitted to the Transit ST (and any other upgraded power vans) but then tune it to the Defender's specification.

This engine has the Variable Vane Turbo that the standard Transit did not have. Therefore, if sourcing a Turbo via Ford, it has to be the Variable Vane one as fitted to the higher performance Transits. Craig Rogers

Anyone confirm that?

250,000 engines a year for JLR
So Ford makes 250,000 engines a year for Jaguar Land Rover under a contract that will come to an end in 2018.
What other vehicles does it go into? I thought the Ingenium engine would go into everything sooner that that?

250,000 engines doesn't sound a lot to me? When you consider how many of each model the factories are knocking out each day, I'd suspect they'd be using far more than this? Craig Rogers

Ford engines are currently in Defender and Evoque/Disco Sport. The idea behind implementing the Ingenium's is to bring them into new models only. So the new Disco 5 will have the Ingenium, and the next 16MY Upgraded Evoque etc. An engine to TDi for!

Has the evoque engine changed recently then, thought it had the same engine as the freelander which isn't a ford. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Nope, Evoque currently on the original engine. Same as the Freelander, which is (and has been since Freelander 2), a 2.2 Ford Duratorq engine. An engine to TDi for!

Technically, it's a PSA/Ford engine seen as it's under the PSA/Ford joint-venture Wink

Based on the PSA DW12 engine, designed by Ford, built in a PSA factory, then sold by Ford Wink Wink An engine to TDi for!
