The LR one is the other option, but its expensive in comparison and you dont get the warn sticker Mike |

I also have mine for my 9.5XP under the driver's seat and the key is safely located inside the compartment.of course installed by our local LR dealer to keep my electrical warranty.

My original question was around other options, not the big isolator as i wanted other thoughts over what i understood
it could have been as simple as i dont like them. Without sounding grumpy - its like any question could be a mountain out of a mole hill...eg: why use none genuine accessories when they fit and work why discuss it. Why not cut up the dash and stick ugly switches in that dont look like they should be there, when you can have a genuine one....that sort of thing However, what we found and why i was looking at other options - it got in the way when using the footwell (wife didnt like) a mate got his boot caught on it and as near as makes no difference pulled the mounting, broke the key and almost killed him self (and us laughing) as he fell head first (think left book stuck in car as he jumps out) I dont want to drill the seat box through to the cab and want a more driver accessible system without loads of cables and finally im not a fan Mike |

Im a fan of keep it simple, doesnt get much simpler than a small isolator in the battery box, but each to their own You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things

Hello Disco,
I agree 100% with your last post.....I don't have a winch...At this time of the morning I'm just looking for someone to interact with! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
