We do try however we are at the mercy of couriers. At this time of the year they employ new/additional drivers. Had a delivery this afternoon, drivers comment was we were difficult to find. Asked how long he had been doing this round. His employment started on Monday, and in 5 days he had 5 different routes!
Got some headlights and other goodies packed up ready for collection. However courier no show this afternoon. Guess I will be doing some emails this evening apologising about delay in despatching goods due to courier not turning up. Brendan |

Will ask Barbara to post up a picture of clear chrome v dark chrome later today.
There are no black Noldens available in RHD at the moment to the best of my knowledge and I do not expect to get any RHD black ones for at least 6 months. Brendan |

Am guessing this is the photo he meant as they do look to be different colours - with dark chrome being on the right. I think but then I am rubbish with the concept of left and right. Barbara |

If it helps, a very good comparison photo taken from Expedition portal (a thread reviewing these Noldens where I just now noticed that Brendan figures amongst the posters )....
Black chrome left, chrome right. Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

The standard Noldens do not have position lights however we do have have Nolden Bi LED headlamps featureing an integral position lamp or sidelight making them suitable for all ‘Special Edition’ Defender models such as SVX, Fire & Ice, X-Tech. If you do not have one of those models you could wire the position lights in with the side lights.
We have them in both clear and dark chrome although I know we are getting low on the dark chrome with position lights. With position lights they are slightly more expensive by £25/pair Brendan |

Brendan , when you say they are only suited to certain ltd ed models, why is this, what is the difference between them and a std model please.
Thanks. Nick. |

Standard model has separate sidelight and some ltd editions have the sidelight in the headlight
so for some ltd editions you need a led headlight with a sidelight as well |

Ahh, I see , thanks for that
So there would be no point in me getting a sidelight version, as I already have std sidelights, and I guess if I needed to be more visible, I would just put the mains on dip..... Cheers,, Nick |
