You don't have to have a switch for front mounted lights only roof lights unless you actually want one.

Fair enough, I use mine on main beam controlled by the stalk.
Indeed I know the switch you have in mind. Quite expensive at around £55 now I think. Dingocroft do them iirc |

I wondered about doing the same, but I thought it'd be good to still be able to run just the normal headlights.
Yea I'm lead to believe it's expensive, I've seen them for £59 I think. |

You can use the heated seat switch as a compromise (they were £14 when I got one)
Same just without the picture, I just replaced the cap with a blank |

Yes switch is expensive, had the same issue with mine. Eventually bought the correct switch from Dingo. Had Devon 4x4 do the basic wiring on the dash to a new auxiliary fuse box. I then wired the light to the fuse box.
The difficulty Is wiring the negative switced side of the switch to accessory, unless your an auto electrician ! Wiring diagram below ![]() Click image to enlarge 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top Last edited by Landlord on 4th Sep 2014 9:39am. Edited 1 time in total |
