Jim - thanks, yes it is the LT95. I will see if I can pull that piece out first before I buy a new cable

OK, so I removed the transducer and tried to plug my speedo cable in but it appears that it is a different size (the square hole in my R380 tranny (from a disco) is smaller than the square at the end of the speedo cable).
I purchased a new cable thinking it would fit but it this new one is also too big to go into the square that previously held the transducer. Can anyone help share some light on what I am doing wrong? - Disco R380 tranny small square speedo insert - Defender speedo cable too big Thanks Tim Series II in pieces 1984 Defender 110 (3.5l V8 now 300TDI) |
