I have, with no problems whatsoever (285/75 x 16 BFG MK2 Muds on Boosts).
You will find it advantageous to fit 30mm spacers to improve the turning circle, and the outside of the vehicle will get covered in crud, but it works fine. Many here will tell you it can't/shouldn't/mustn't be done, and it is true that a Boost is narrower than the manufacturer's recommended minimum width for a 285, but it fits fine. Mine have done over 100k miles with no dramas at all. |

Thanks for that, I'm going to order 6 today, they are going on 7"X16" Blindo Alloys, was toying with the idea of 30mm spacers, any particular make you could recomend?

I used Rakeway spacers, since I think they are the best. There are many available nowadays of rather indistinct origins, so I would always specifically choose a good branded product direct from source. They're also pretty good value.
If you're buying the Blindos I think that you can get an offset equivalent to a Boost on 30mm anyway, in which case you may not need spacers at all. PS - Why 6, not the more predictable 5? |

Tony ive just put 285's on evo course dakars (like blindo with the same offset) and had spacers fitted allready. Im about to take the spacers off as there offset allready. Thought i'd post as might save you a bit of money on spacers. Heres a pic of them with 30mm spacer to help you decide, there just under the arches but would flick everything up the sides.

I have 255/85s Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender
