Hi everyone. I am just going to replace my 2009 110 SW puma clutch plate, pressure plate, clutch pump and pivot bearing soon due to excessive rattling. According to puma workshop manual, do i need to use that special plate align tools etc. Also I have heard that coolant pump, clutch sensor should remove etc? (Please correct me if that is wrong). For this reason, should i seek professional LR guarage or would it be alright to get this job done by the normal guarage mechanic. All the costs have to bear by my self since no warranty applies. Please share your thoughts and advice. Thanks a lot.
Kind regards, Diluk |

Hi. Many thanks for the reply guys. Appreciate that! Today I change the clutch kit with slave cylinder. But didn't bother to change the pivot bearing though. First it was impossible to insert the new slave cylinder to the gear box as the metal sleeve was quite big so apparently had to fine it around to fix the problem then it was totally alright. I bought it from UK brand name Borg & Beck but surprised to see the bad fitment. Please have a look the pics of old and new clutch plates below. The two inner small spring were gone and others were shaking badly.
