Ah Ken my good man, this is good. Then the wheels would need to be 8" if I have understood this correctly? Which imediately discounts the ZU option and also the Blindo's. This leaves modulars or wolf rims or Mach 5's but they are so common and cheap lookingFishing for doggiesWhistle
Can you PM me with costs please Thumbs Up 59 2.4 110 XS Utility

Cibit, I am in my own dilema on tyres too Confused everyones on different stuff but think I know what I am going to go with Exclamation

My 110 is due end March. It will come with a set of boosts but dont like them too much so I am going to modulars, so you are not the only one out there thinking of them Thumbs Up

I am baffled on some facts and I know there are loads of posts, but unable to find the answers. I am thinking 265 or 285 but do I need for either of the sizes?

1/Require spacers?
2/Need suspension lift?

Any advise welcome guys Thumbs Up Mr. Green Bow down

TACK

Cheers Fekete Thumbs Up dont know the size of the standard grabbers thats it coming with, just spent 10mins on the internet with not joy Evil or Very Mad

But if no lift or spacers needed for 265 or 285 then great, choice made Mr. Green

As the boost will be brand spanking new, not to sure what they will be worth in the second hand market, might try and trade them in with the supplier of the new wheels if thats a done thing Confused

The standard Grabbers are 235 85 16. Spacers are only normally required if you keep the original Boosts as they have such a poor offset, and the turning circle isn't too great with 265 or 285s otherwise. With modulars you'll be fine without spacers. Personally I'd go for 285s - otherwise you'll only wish that you had as soon as you park yours next to someone that does have them fitted. Peter

Ken,

If I could get them anywhere near that price I'd buy 'em all up myself and go into the tyre game and clean up! Normally I deal with Micheldever they are one of the regional wholesalers down here and their prices can be hard to beat!

Now that is a nice looking landy....had the same set up on mine with no issues as well on standard springs.

If you have seen my new wheels on my recent thread, i got my inspiration from AlexE who had them on his 110DC in black....sorry Alex ive blatantly stolen your pic.

So, if, say.... someone was going to put 285/75's onto their original Boosts, what size spacers would be recommended, do we think, if any? Seems to be conflicting thoughts on here Confused What issues would you have running, lets say, a bog standard 90 XS Puma with these tyres? Only rubbing at full lock, I assume? Mark
