Cheers Chris. Got the old man to pull the cable and its free! Ive put a load of grease on it now.
So am I CR, Vans aren't for me! Chucked my old ex Army Box in the back to after a quick coat of Satin Black. It might stay, but is a lot more cramped than when it was in my 110. Skeggy 90 on here is selling them for £25 now, which is less than I paid about £30 a couple of years ago from memory. There called Laycorn boxes (I hadnt realised until I saw his post in the for sale section) Click image to enlarge Defender puma dormobile camper |

I see you have fitted spacers, are you going to keep these with your new wheels? Have they got the standard LR offset? www.td5.org

I have the same style wheels, mine are the Evo Corse Dakar and have an offset of ET25 so stick out 8mm further than my standard LR wheels did.
The Terrafirma versions seems to ship in ET33, the same as your boosts, so you might want the spacers left if yours are that version. The spacers will be visible as the hub won't stick through the wheel www.td5.org |

Cheers Me, yes mine say evo course dakar on there boxes so must be the same ones as also stick out a fair bit?
I decided to leave the spacers on aswell though, got them fitted just then and look great. One got a scuff from the fitting machine but no loss as ill touch it in and they sorted me out well because of it. The painter went for limestone out of the 2 colours to choose from and im delighted with the job he did again Dont know about you but i think there a great improvement Numberplate mount is being done later as added a few more jobs to the stainless list (not car related though) so ill sort that out properly and no more wonky one! Then its the soft top to do next. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Defender puma dormobile camper |

Love this 90 but dunno about those wheels, they look too big somehow. Wonder if it would look better without the spacers?? Just my personal view of course as love the rest. Andy

It will 'always' be Killers truck with that numberplate. Are you getting shot or is it a temporary measure?
Great so far with a lot of attention to detail. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Cheers Guys, yes my LRO plates paperwork were sent off when i got it so will hopefully come through this week or next but the dvla tends to drag out and thats out of my hands sadly. But yes there only temporary
Regarding the wheels they grow on you as never used to like the style myself but think they are a more purposeful than a lot of the others designs. Really rather taken to them now and the tyres dont look as big in the flesh Defender puma dormobile camper |

Hi S T
Looking good I'm not sure the Limestone & Keswick look right together in the photo may be the reflection from the field around but they look a bit too green - or maybe its just envy 2020 P300 HSE |

The roof is contrasting with the wheels because its white i think once that lovely soft top is on it the wheels should look great i think Only thing i would do is remove spacers and put wheels straight on, drop numberplate to middle of bumper were they usually are CSK Automotive

Cheers Guys
there 285 75 16 BF Goodrich all terrains (fantastic tyres and last forever) The green of the car reflects on them a bit in that shot aswell as the field but look a nice cream normally. Think you might be right with the spacers Chris as the wheels stick out a lot anyway, its only they were on when they just fitted them. It should look nicer with the sand roof anyway, numberplate bracket is arriving later so will see then but do like it on top. Overall im well chuffed with how its getting on, but is still very much in the transformation stage so nothings final really. Edit. plates now straight on a nice stainless series mount (also shows the wheels on tarmac without reflections on the colour. hoods being delivered tomorrow so might get swapped this weekend if other bits arrive to and weather dependent. Got a quieter day today and tomorrow as the weekend will be busy for work so am going to crack on as a deliveries coming today from exmoor Its starting to look a bit extreme inside at the moment now, ill put some updates maybe tomorrow. Seems alarming to be stripping down my nice new car, also reminds you to be security conscious as got the rear door off neatly in 10 minutes not rushing!
