As much as I love it A house purchase might be on the cards and dont want to ruin it doing building work, so thinking a 110 double cab will be more useful.
If it doesnt go ill keep it though as no hurry to sell, but wouldnt want it not looking its best Click image to enlarge Defender puma dormobile camper Last edited by SailingTom on 4th Dec 2014 10:39am. Edited 1 time in total |

Updates, genuinely cant understand it not selling as Id say a fair price now at £19495 ono for the money spent on it along with condition and mileage.
Ive had so much interest and phone calls but none have actually been to see it. Decided ill keep an ad on pistonheads as ill be taking offers a bit over 18 really but will just keep using and enjoying it over the winter. Ive not done any further mods, except a new hazard switch as it got stuck on on the A12 after I slowed to a traffic jam! Click image to enlarge Defender puma dormobile camper |

That seems to be the case, never really intended to sell this one but circumstances change. Never know though I might end up keeping it at this rate and change it into something else Defender puma dormobile camper

Using the work horse for other jobs anyway at the moment, so no need for it to do any hard work, still enjoyable just to drive in the meantime though.
BTW. Let me know when your back on terrafirma next omg as have the wheel centre to post you still somewhere Defender puma dormobile camper |

I think if you put some standard alloys, Boosts for example, and replaced original grill it will sell. Too specific for most at the moment possibly.... Sib

Think you could be right there, I though about wolf wheels but boosts and a standard front would make it look a lot more standard. Certainly something ill do for next year when I re-advertise it Defender puma dormobile camper

Hi
Hope you do not mind me asking for a bit of advice. I've recently bought an 07 pick up that I'm think of converting into a soft top similar to yours. Firstly you first hood you said was very noisey over 30 mph, did the second one make it any better ? Secondly, I know I need hood sticks, yours look pretty substantial are they exmoor ones ? Thirdly any thing else I need to get ? Cheers 2020 P300 HSE |

SailingTom, were you in Leicestershire today?
Received a text off my old man this evening with a picture of your lovely Defender! Said he saw it in the pub car park, and I instantly recognised it off here! Would have liked to have seen it in the flesh myself! Good luck with the sale, wish I had a spare 19k lying around! |

Its long gone now, Im currently in a G wagen so not me. I think the new owner was from that way and plans to take it to Ibiza aswell.
Dan who bought it from me has spent a fair bit on it since though as had the seats trimmed in cream leather along with custom made rear bench seats in the same cream. Glad to hear its still looking good though |
