If just one door isn't locking it will probably be the wire from the post to the door that has snapped. It's a very common fault and reasonably easy to fix.

Both the rear doors on my 110 refuse to take part in the central locking
![]() From this thread I should: 1) Check the wire from door to post hasn't snapped 2) Lubricate the mechanisms - particularly the plastic spinney bits - with proper lock grease, not WD40, ACF50 or even GT85 So... the wire? And... door card off = inevitable. Two things that a picture would save a thousand words in explaining what I need to do and where I need to look. Any graphic or video assistance very much appreciated. ![]() |

Almost definately the wire snapped in the rubber boot that goes from the b post to the door. If you take the card off the door and just pull each wire that goes into the rubber boot one will come out easily. Best to put a section of thin wall wire to the same spec right through the rubber boot rather than just re soldering or you will have to go back in after a year or so.

My drivers door started today also, trouble is when the fob is pressed to open the door the lock button doesn't quite reach full unlock so the central locking shuts again!
