I think the basic profile of the Mud seat rails is 40mm square.
Have a look here Brendan |

Hot reply too soon..
So - higher at the back. I'd got it wrong ... I don't want to go further back but I would like a little more height and I was thinking tilting the seat a little may improve support under my legal and in the small of my back. |

Hi Anderzander
Yes you sit higher overall and the seat base is a bit more level, the main function is to give you more legroom if you're a bit tall and chunky like me ![]() You can fit additional washers under the standard seats to adjust is slightly or Exmoor do an adjustable seat rail with tilt adjustment which may suit better http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-EXT010...tAodvFcAPQ Cheers John 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

You could put washers/spacers under one end of these

Stephen, with mud rails fitted you can comfortably see the corners of both wings. Very handy in tight Lakeland lanes 😉

The MUD seat rails seems to 'flatten out' the seat position if that makes sense? Although they only raise it by 30mm it feels like more than that.
Personally I think that they give you a better, more comfortable, driving position than standard. The only downside is that if you're tall then you can find yourself looking through the sun visor. |
