I was thinking of using a LHD heater intake and some of that piping. Had a look today and it's a very short distance, added bonus is that it raises the height of the intake and makes it into a true snorkel, assuming I seal it correctly. Very Happy

Haha dont feel ashamed I too did not locate the nakantnenga kit.

I have noticed the beauty of the short distance between the wing top and the air box. Means that theres evwn less risk of adding a restriction. Ill certainly need a second snoe cowl. Infortunately I want an ex mod metal one to match the one im soon to fit on the heater induction side

Depending on the speed you are wanting to do something im already working on a solution that is an easer fit but it will be some time yet before ready.

The pipe I made above worked very good albiet a bit crude and for sure helped with breathing which lead me to the next project, Injection moulding a pipe from the wing to the air box for ease of fitment, and a new air box that has no restriction inside all as a bolt on fit.

These pictures show our unmodifyed drawings we had 3D lazer scanned which will aid us to adjust the restricted areas and have made less restrictive.

The intake is the same but unfortunatly much space is occupied by the heater air intake, the hose from the fender grill to filter box has to be very flexible to go under the heater intake Evil or Very Mad
Please do your best,i can't wait for another(decent) filter box!

But surely there will still be more space than a RHD non ABS motor as they fit the webasto heaters in there.

Fair enough they have to take the wing off to install it Rolling Eyes William

Since i already have a mantec snorkel (metal tube one, attached to the roll cage),i'll follow your solution, otherwise i would use the top wing grill for air intake and an old style snorkel(from top of the wing) and would use the side grill for heater..
