Simple answer is 'Yes' as long as they are used inside the truck and will not be submersed in water.
I use 'bootlace' terminals on the end of cables when specified using Wago, it's a simple solution that turns mutistrand into a single one for connectivity. They can be seen on the yellow relay cables and sit deep inside the Wago apertures. Click image to enlarge If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! We use them in the Junction boxes on our ROVs.
They're then oil filled and positive pressure compensated to 1 bar. At 3000mtrs depth they're seeing a pressure of 301 bar, so you can imagine the squeeze on the connectors and cables. Since using them, we have a lot less issues with bad connections, due to pressure change, vibration issues etc. |
