Interesting comments about Wago connectors which I did not know. Would you use these in below link on a Defender for electric connections provided that there is space available? 3-way and 2-way. Tks, Eric

Simple answer is 'Yes' as long as they are used inside the truck and will not be submersed in water. Thumbs Up

Wago has different types of these connectors, for massiv or stranded cable. Because for automotive applications you always use stranded wires, make sure you use the right type. There is a lot of info on the Wago website.
I think they are very capable and usefull, if they are well installed, i.e. with good fixing of cables and connectors on a firm surface or in a proper enclosure.

I use 'bootlace' terminals on the end of cables when specified using Wago, it's a simple solution that turns mutistrand into a single one for connectivity. They can be seen on the yellow relay cables and sit deep inside the Wago apertures.

We use them in the Junction boxes on our ROVs.

They're then oil filled and positive pressure compensated to 1 bar.

At 3000mtrs depth they're seeing a pressure of 301 bar, so you can imagine the squeeze on the connectors and cables. Since using them, we have a lot less issues with bad connections, due to pressure change, vibration issues etc.
