Wing top vent screws
Would any one happen to know the screw size for the vent?
Going to fit a snow cowl and the screws + snow cowl + vent + Chequer plate are not long enough. Sad 1999 Defender TD5 110

Hi i only have a metric gauge so the screw diameter is m4(equates to n 8 screw as it is usually double) and the pitch 1.5 I you can get them from here: http://www.a2stainless.co.uk/Land-Rover-De...AKMGW.aspx
and they accomodate cplate!

United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 2.5 TD HT Coniston Green
Hi there,

Only just joined the community here. I have a 2007 TD5 Hard top (90) County. Starting to do some small cosmetic changes to it, and running into some small obstacles along the way. I bought one of these side vents: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322050903785
However, after prying off the original plastic one (and the old pins breaking off in the holes), I realised the holes in the vent do not match the "bigger" screw holes. It does however match the holes of the pins which I can push out, but I do not know what size screw and grommet I need to get. The screw is a lot smaller than the original, but the head size needs to be the same so it holds the vent in place and does not slip through the hole.

Help please!

Thanks
