I have a Mantec winch bumper that takes the rubber A bars. Strong, but £200+. It encouraged me to but a winch... Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. I have some kind of HD standard bumper on mine, but I have no idea who made it.

It originally had 6 threaded holes for attaching up to 3 normal tow hitches. I have a tow hitch in the middle, and the end two holes I just widened and put some swivel eyes through.
I can't remember off the top of me, but I think this is 6mm, or even 8mm steel, but has a 10mm backing plate running the length between the bullbar mountings, where the eyes and towbar are.

It has loads of other threaded holes dotted all over it, including for end caps. But the best part is that the bumper mounting brackets themselves are threaded, rather than the rubbishy nutclips that always bend and break when you try and put a bumper on.

And I only paid £25 quid for it, 2 years ago, from a guy who just wanted rid. Twisted Evil
