Anyone tried one of these ?

Auto 8 LED Light with PIR Sensor

It might work well in a cubby box and available from a forum sponsor in Southampton

Not in a Land Rover, but had something similar as a cheap alternative to an emergency light in a windowless workshop. That one had a light sensor built in too, though. Darren

England 2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
I got something which looks virtually identical last weekend from Lidl for a fiver. Has three positions on the switch -off -always on -on when movement detected. Works well and is incredibly bright. I bought it to stick up in our woodshed so that I don't have to fumble about in the dark when I've got arms full of timber.
