Can you please clarify what you really mean? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

So to understand properly. My 110 SW is a late August or early September 2008 built, so a model year 2009.
Would this be a 2 or 4 pin front diff? Eric You never actually own a Defender. I have a 4pin LSD. So I think the best plan is to put this in the Tdci rear, and the Tdci rear 4pin in the front.
Do we think that is the best option? As LSD's work well with TC and are stronger than standard parts. Andy |

I'm not sure if that would work Landy Andy, I seem to remember hearing that the P38 rear diff has a longer pinion shaft.
But there again I might be wrong... |

Oh, so may be better to put LSD in front axel then. Especially as it could be a two pin. (Not sure on date of truck, only got reg)

P38 diff won't fit in the front axle.
P38 diff as used in 110 & 130 rear is a 4 pinion unit and although not a great diff is stronger that the 2-pinion Rover pattern front diff used in 90s and the earlier lwb vehicles. |
