I've had my 2.2 nearly 18 months now. During that time I have never had an issue with DPF. I'm assuming this thread originated because others have also been incident free? I spent such a long time debating the 2.4 or 2.2 issue that when I took delivery of my 2.2 it was almost spoiled by the DPF fear factor. I'm glad others have had similar non issues. Learning more on this matter is always helpful. Thanks all Thumbs Up

No issues yet but only done 4,500 miles. I think like others, I would just like to know when the engine is doing it's regen thing so I can take it for a long drive and get the process finished asap.

Almost 12000 miles and no sign of the regen light. I have no idea whether it is doing its thing or not!

The DPFs are meant to be good for 70,000 miles, but I wouldn't worry. They're fitted to transit engines which means that someone somewhere will be working on a cheapo pattern part for them they do need replacing.
