New DAB radio aerial issue
Evening you clever lot,

Need some pointers - I'm installing a pioneer DAB head unit into the habitation area of our motorhome.

All the wiring is easy as the 12v supply is right where I need it, already dragged out the speaker feeds which ill cut and use.

Now for the aerial question - I already have a fitted aerial with signal booster that handles DAB and has a standard F type connection.

The pioneer has the usual fm aerial and an additional tiny snb connection.

How do I get all 3 together and where on earth do I find the fittings ?!!!!

Google search proving useless....

Cheers all Bow down

There are 2 seperate aerial inputs - DAB and FM but I've found a couple of leads from Dabonwheels that with a small modification will work !!

I think what we are trying to say is the DAB antenna will not pick up FM transmissions, also be careful about connecting dab aerial outputs on radios to standard fm aerials, they carry volts I think to power the dab aerial

Cheers for that JD.

Yeah I've already got a powered DAB signal from the MH so I'm going to seperate the FM input from the lead set ive ordered and with a bit of luck it should work.

He says. Lol
