Hi Josh,
Probably an hour the first time and less once you've done it a couple of times. Yes, a TD5 truck cab will fit - they're all the same. You'll also need a tailboard, which is slightly more complicated as your van body won't have the fittings for the hinges and latches. Not insurmountable though, as the parts are readily available.
