I met my ex when I was a county chairman of a youth organisation. She was one of the candidates I was interviewing for the secretary's position, the reason she got the job wasn't just down to me, there were five of us on the interviewing panel

It did strike me as to the double meaning when I hit the submit button but she was the best qualified plus the better looking one out of the five candidates, then I was the only one on the panel that wasn't married and I was the one who had to work with her on a daily basis
There have to be some perks when you're a chairman |

Dodgy night club, 1997. Sticky floors, bad music, everyone pie-eyed and looking like they were from TOWIE. Class.
On the subject of 'dogging', one night whilst we were enjoying the solitude of a quiet carpark, a torch shone through our window followed by a tap on the glass. It was the plod, Five-O, PoPo, Old Bill etc. We thought we were about to be knobbled for indecency etc, but instead were asked to politely move on. It seems they were setting up to lie in wait for a drug bust later that (very early) morning..... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I met the good lady in butlins at Minehead, I was there competing in the Somerset stages rally, having sideswiped a gatepost at 70 we were in the disco drowning our sorrows at the thought of the repair costs when a couple of girls from Swansea stood next to us, I proposed to mine in the same spot on the next years rally, my mate and his lasted about 3months.
She also referred to all 4x4 as jeeps and still does although now its on purpose! |

At work, she worked over on the other side of the airfield, on the lazy shirking job dodging Sqn. I wooed her by getting a shade too drunk and spilling beer on her shoes/feet on a deployment and slamming the taxi doors on her fingers when we got out of the taxi home
And yes she loves our Deffy, When you suggest that maybe you should change it for a newer Puma as its the last year of production and the reply is "You should keep ours and put a V8 in it" you know you have a keeper... Gary 3 Landrovers |

At University, to me she was a stunner and thought I had no chance, but I plucked up courage and asked her to a student’s union concert and the rest is as they say history, we have been together since that concert now for thirty eight years. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
