When I use mine on the motorway I typically cruise at around 65. It'll happily do more but it's just noisier and hammers the fuel consumption. If time is not an issue then I'm happy to sit with the lorries, to be honest. Darren

Mine's happiest around the 65mph with its standard gearing, it will if asked exceed the speed limit and go on to go faster than the official top speed but you can watch the fuel guage move towards empty at an alarming rate!

^^^^ Same as that. 65mph is nice and relaxing, especially when we're off on our hols!
Although I do have a picture of my speedo showing 110mph, so it will shift when called upon! Tweeked Td5 110 with a 1.2:1 box. |

I sit at around 55 - 60mph with standard Defender TC.

Just been to Basingstoke and back twice today on the M3 and the defender sits nicely at 70mph without any drama. 1.2 transfer box though .
