That is awesome, I am guessing it was no low bridges, or multi storey car -parks for you that day!!

I bet cornering was a interesting affair too.

I did take the precaution of measuringntje height before I set of. The journey was 3.5hrs and to be honest, there was very little difference in the handling, a bit more windage mind! Razz

BigRuss, if you mean the rear panels with company logo on, they are not lockers. I wanted a removeable logo, so adapted mantec window grills (even though I have no windows), by adding a solid panel to stick the logo to. That way I can undo three bolts on each side and I have a naked vehicle! The bblcak and white on the front vents are magnetic rubber,so they ping off in a second too. Sorry to disappoint! Neutral

Just drove the Defender Puma today after a few days studying..

Sunday morning 6c

Defender under our carport , while always being blocked by my father´s X5 , I went on and moved the BMW out of the way, too free up my Defender which was already warming up Wink

Got in , I connected my iPod . Drove off the Driveway... slow relaxing music : let it heat up first... Thumbs Up

Then after 20 minute´s I changed the music to something more thrilling Smile .
drove into a Greenlane...
Pure magic , cant describe it... I always feel special when driving my Defender ,
Human and Machine in perfect harmony. I knew exactly what it´s doing and how it behave´s.

A BMW is a great driving machine , but the Defender is more Pure and therefore more fun.

I find that the TDCI engine is such a performer, lots of torque´s and 2nd gear pull is so fast!

Then went on to the bakery where my GF works with a smile on my face.

Nothing better to begin a sunday morning!
