now I have the group buy hinges fitted, I thought Id have another go at fitting the bonnet struts and hey presto all is good. I now have no need for the bonnet stay. I did have to move a few pipes out of the way and replace a couple of bolts that were in the way with ones with smaller heads. but another mod done. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

More titivating to the Series and then fitted extended mudflap brackets and mud shields to the 130. Still going to get some crap up the sides as the wheels are zero offset and just protrude the arch.

Took my defender over to Matthew at Tayside Landrovers to have the new side steps fitted as the final part of the Chassis refurb project.
All done looking great, pity about the weather DRW I built a garage for my Mini With a place for everything and everthing in its place. Ten years down the line there's a Mini in there somewhere, and all's where it should be!!!! Ho hum |
