Fitted the sub in the 110, not as much room behind the cubby so they overhang a bit, added a few holes and bolts to the brackets to sturdy it, ready now for the bump test in Wales. Still need to fit the steering guard in the morning before we set off on the Mid Wales Laning Trip .
Now I've fitted the sub I have to completely retune the stereo so the setup works in harmony..... Long and arduous to get it just right. =================================== Steve 90 xs sw in Stonoway Grey - Sold 110 USW X-TECH |

Today I put an isolator switch on my winch. I nipped into Maplins this morning and bought an illuminating rocker switch and it's now wired to cut power to the wander lead which also has a wireless remote gizmo. I was getting a little concerned that I'd be happily driving along and there would be some kid with a remote control car or something that would trigger the winch and end up having my bumper being folded up or it spitting wire rope down the road
I also made another attempt to wire in the cheap 12v programmable timer for my Eberspcher, Last time I tried it, it wouldn't give enough voltage to the heater control unit, it just made the led's glow dimly so I had a brainwave and went to put it through a relay and use a separate power source for the timer. Still no joy, probably something to do with there being something loose in the timer, you can hear it rattling about if you shake it. That'll be my fault as the last attempt at getting it to do the job resulted with it being launched into the garage from a distance in frustration I'll give another one a try before I give up, for a fiver a time it's worth a go |

Went on a five mile round trip to pick up a bottle of gas.
By the time I got home the temp guage was just off the stop. Thank gawd for heated seats. |

One of the main reasons I got hold of the fuel burning heater. I take my boy and two others, a brother and sister to a secondary school 6miles away then the mother of the two bring them back at the end of the day. Before the heater went in the Td5 was just getting toasty for me to drive home in and the kids were glad to get into the warm school, now there's no defrosting of windows, the whole 110 is warm even before I get in and the kids aren't drowning the radio with the sound of their teeth chattering

Picked up a Bamford horse drawn hay rake, not a bit of flocking in sight I'm afraid
