Took it to the car wash to get the salt off and they broke my air intake cover! They tried to get away with just giving me a free car wash but I made them then pay me for a new one. £6.00 richer and have now placed an order for a Cor4 cover. Little more than 6 quid.....but needs must ===================================

Stripped rear passengers door and cleaned/lubed it all up - you could open it from the outside when the alarmed had 'locked' it
Also, looked into why my passenger seat wasn't heating up....looks like another fight with the LR Warranty over that one... Cheers, Superspoons |

Fitted extra lights for next Saturday's day into night trial with Suffolk Land Rover Owners Club. It's like Blackpool illuminations!

Replaced the park switch for the wipers. They now stop when told and return home like good wipers! 1999 Defender TD5 110

Not been in mine for nearly a fortnight since the wipers broke!
Dave finally got them fixed for me yesterday so off I went to the supermarket this morning..... Haven't minded too much commuting in the Range Rover for the last couple of weeks as it is so warm and very comfy, and the Defender is cold and noisy - but as soon as I drove into town in the Defender this morning The 'Smile Factor' was back ! Fitted R/H sill chequer plate and nearly finished the L/H one. I bust the caulking gun !
Also replaced coolant (sorry water) with some coolant ! managed to get L/H coolant drain on engine undone to help get rid of the water ! R/H one is right by a knock sensor and awkward to get to. |

Well I received my new 20" black wheels, only missing the black wheel nuts but they are about 2 weeks away.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Also fitted a bracket to dash to hold Satnav, the Proclip whilst well made was not what I was looking for. Click image to enlarge Then I went for a drive to try them out, had a great drive but now need to consider wider wheel arches as the wheels cast spray all along the body, well it is wet out there. Wow, that is pretty darn cool (first time I have seen one- every day is a school day). But as mentioned they aren't cheap...... I will add one to my list ranked at about 20.
