Gets quite deep across there, I was persuaded a few years back to turn back going to Wellington by the wife who was stood on the passenger seat and the kids with their feet up on the seat boxes in the back of my old 90! It's surprising how much current there can be on such a wide expanse of water |

I'd only go to Halfrauds for a number plate if I had won the lottery! I use motor factors for that type of thing or some garages have the kit to do them for half the price. There's a motor factors on Barrs Court Road that's open Monday that'll do one there and then. Wherever you go don't forget your V5!

If you're in Marden, there's a damn good indie that lives there! I'm the other side of the A49 on the way to Credenhill

Well, last night got a text at 22:40 of a mate in his Mitsi L200..I need a jump start and broken down in a garage forecourt.
Crawled out of bed, got ready and went to help. Jump started OK, but the multimeter was showing 12.5v (not too bad) and then dropped down to 8v. Then engine cut out. Hooked up jump leads again (gotta love front mounted Anderson plugs) and left the leads on to put some volts back in and with the multimeter hooked up, when cranking the voltage dropped to 6v... Knackered battery or Alty.? My money is on the alty. LR (1) - Mitsi L200 (0) 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
