Not today but yesterday, collected the 90 complete with new turbo, injector seals, oil change etc etc.
Happy to say it has given up smoking Also met Peter Lamb and his wife, owners of FirstFour. Their 2007 110 was at an adjacent company having a very nice SS exhaust fitted, decat, no centre box and cherry bomb back box. If you read this Peter it was great to meet you after all this time Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Were you as underwhelmed as me when you got the 'certificate'? Thought I'd get a nice green certificate to add a bit of colour to Big Blacks maintenance folder... but no... First world problems I guess ha! |

Mounted my new rear door brackets. Now I can open my rear doors up to 90°, easy to fit, mounting takes 15 minutes.
benefits: - easier to reach the seats (child seat) - you can load/ unload your car from the side (tool box, fridge) - higher standard/ stainless steel 1.4301 Greetings - Markus |

Hello Bob,
the idea of these brackets ins' t mine. My friends modificated their original brackets (bigger holes) a long time ago. They asked me after a professional bracket with "style" and without rust Markus |

My 110 had its 36000 miles service today. They gave me a Rover 75 auto estate as a courtesy car, couldn't believe how rough and ready the 110 seemed by comparison, and so high up! It was a really strange feeling driving the 110 home. The rear brake pads had to be replaced, and the windscreen wipers, but the rest was fine apart from very slight wear in the front anti roll bar bushes. That can wait for next time.
