went to Bluewater via M25. came back via country lanes and went through several very deep windscreen soaking puddles and a couple of floods.
Yesterday finally fitted the NK under bonnet stuff - it has made a noticeable difference, especially as i have a NK blanket as weel. BM52 |

....well , a few mods, and hoping to sort something out regarding the clocks...all electrical, BUT ,Ian should be able to sort it out...Was going to do TD5, but engine was rebuilt 17,000 miles back. Some mods to block and internals should have it flying along nicely. Betty has got to last me some years now, and be using her on the stands at show next year and a few European road trips to... Did some trail work at the ski club before the snow flies, the reason I love my defender
Click image to enlarge and fixed my rear mud flap support as it had separated from the support bracket. Still have my intermittent jerking when at speed, maybe a bad tank of fuel or a bad plug or wire..... The holes lined up fine for me, apart from the O/S rear holes which attaches to the sill. Turns out it wasn't the arch but the replacement sill that I've got fitted, so just a new hole drilled and all fits fine An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

Wasn't today but on Saturday. Took a trip to Tedworth House, the Help for Heroes flagship recovery centre to be part of a presentation on behalf of Convoy4Heroes;
Click image to enlarge Afterwards we were given a guided tour around, now that to me was a day well worth spent and made us all proud to have at least contributed to help those that were just doing their job but ended up with such life changing consequences. Come and join us next year as it's the UK that holds the Guiness Record, in 2013 we want to put it out of reach of anyone else :thumbsup: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
