This weekend my Defender got its subwoofer fitted (makes a HUGE difference), the extra battery wired so it now charges and has its own switch, plus the winch wired up and roped up so that now works too. Bit by bit the transformation continues...

Returned from 10 days camping in Devon (a few days ago). All in all did 800 miles with 3 passengers (and myself) and most of the gear (tents, cookers, sleeping bags, etc, etc) for 8 people (the other 4 where in the wifes car). The Defender didn't miss a beat (glad I was sat in the front though ). Met a couple of lads on the camp site with a Discovery 2 and a Freelander so got to do some of the local lanes too.

Reposting 6 pictures (just under one MB) to add 5 words?
(Yes I know It should be in the grumpy old man thread but I do most of my browsing on a smartphone and this sort of thing is a nuisance) |

Cheers for the comments...
@Warpig, the GoPro is BRILLIANT, however, loading HD movies can be time consuming, though I did it on an old iMac and when I came to load it on YouTube the computer compressed it down so the quality ended up PANTS. see The versatility of it is brill and I will, when I get time, sort the downloading of filming out. |
