Steve, you could have bought a whole new Defender by now on what you have spent on mods You could always build one up in your back garden though from all the bits

naa, the boosts are for the 90, i already have 2 sets for the 110 I'll be "selling" the deep dish alloys when I get the boosts but there's a limited market for them and they are less desirable. |

I stopped an annoying rattle in my drivers door, a few months ago I had the doorcard off and found the inner panel had fractured and with the steel a bit thin to weld with my stick welder I just put a strip of tin across the break and screwed it on, not pretty but it worked.....at the time. The screws had loosened and allowed the fracture to flex again so for a quick fix I dipped my finger in some grease, smeared it into the break and tightened up the screws! Quiet again now

Bailed out the winch wire and put back neatly and undertension by using a L200 as a weight (he then retrurned the favour by using my 110 as weight to retension his wire)
Then put some Captain Tolleys Creeping Crack cure on the Alpine window seals and the roof joints in an attempt to stop the Alpine seal leaking and me getting a wet leg. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
