Quick question - how are you finding the ST Maxx for traction on the unsealed outback roads, particularly when it has been wet and you get sticky bits?
Thinking of a set of those (rather than more aggressive STTs) for my 90 for our Oz adventure, but not sure what they are like in muddy / wet / slippy conditions.

Cheers,
Pam

hey Pam.... they're great! had them on since nov and have had several journeys in wet conditions, out here when it rains the surface becomes very sticky and clay like, and the maxx's have been superb Thumbs Up Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...

'Wow...! What a ride!

Went up to Durness for a run and visited the estate I was last stalking on. Met some of the locals on route. Very Happy

Getting it fixed after a thieving toe rag broke into it at the weekend. The alarm on a packed campsite made them scarper but the damage was done. Twisted Evil She's not old...just older

Yesterday... As it's first MOT is very nearly due, I fitted a new sidelight bulb, and fitted the new side rails I accidentally ordered Whistle (I blame affiliate13 Wink )

Was going to wash it but just as I'd put the tool box away the heavens opened. Great timing.

So I parked it up for night, only to realise that a brake light and the number plate light have now blown! Typical!

I'd love some photos of that if you have any! Can't decide between 265/75/16 and 255/85/16! (not that I'm sure there's much of a difference!)
