What did you do in your Defender Today?
What did you fit some wings? Defender's got the aerodynamics of a brick at the best of times! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

That's better! Having worked on aircraft for 32 years and still toiling on them it was too much like a busman's holiday reading about flying and my 'interestometer' never really moved. Bet the drive was better than the bit in the middle? If not you need to rag it a bit more! How's the racking coming on....any photos? My third time flying my father inlaws Microlight/Plane, so for me it was the dog's dangalies being up there for 4 hours with clear skys watching all those defenders and FL2's sitting in baking hot traffic
The racking keeps getting changed about, got no pics, using the tie down holes to locate vetical wall straps, then using performated sheets to create baskets each side, similar to that of Mantec one Only problem is the weight on the shelf in the middle, was not strong enough so having to redesign. Once finished it will be powder coated and I will put some pics up |

Very sad to see how almost all the old houses (mudbrick ones) dissapeared . I will post some pictures later. Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

Well actually it was yesterday...
Got in to go to work and the engine management light came on! Drove to a meeting in the afternoon at there it was again, Drove back from meeting and sure enough it was still lit. Dropped into local LR dealer to book it in on way back to the office. Left LR dealer, got back in the truck and.... You guessed it; the light had gone out, hasn't come back on since Still taking it in though as I want the "Ker-Lunk" noise from the back diff every time I accelerate sorted and the gear change looked at as i'm getting fed up with the number of times I go to pull away and discover it hasn't actually gone into gear MAD COW 2007 90 Hard Top - 2009 BMW F800GS - 2002 CCM 604E Dual Sport Project90 |

Took off the external portion of the snorkel and 'plumbed in' all the pipework back to the air filter that some kind previous owner had totally removed
What a b*tch of a job that was, took 3 bloomin hours, as access to every nut, bolt clip and connector was virtually impossible due to the locations. All done now, sealed and re-fitted Andy |

Tested my racking on some lanes before I build the next shelf, get the permanent fixings in and power coating. Surprised how strong it was once all together and no noise at all

Looks great!
You might want to get a cargo barrier in there though if you're carrying shears and spades around loose in the back I'm sure they were just there for demo purposes One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

cheers alan, your right , did take it down some lanes but all shears etc was buried under another ozchair and other stuff, but ur right in anycase. brought a load guard from a chap on here, never fitted it as of yet as I enjoy the facility to put the seats down, but I wont enjoy a spade in the head
Next job. Cargo guard |
