Zag, thats where kids should be on a cold sunny day, not in front of a tv
Today I fitted my MSS full cubby box (thanks Irena), fitted my heated seat switches in it and wired the 12v aux sockets in it too. Also I fitted it an inch higher than normal, it gives a fab armrest Then fitted my Ram Mount for ipad...thanks Brendan All done outside in the sunny cold, lovely. |

Carried out the annual service, fixed the CB and packed for the P&P day tomorrow.
I will be glad when I start using it some more and move the service from annual (In Janurary FFS!) to the warmer months. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

god, that reminds me when we lived in Essex we used to go to the New Lahore in commercial road whitechapel, not far from Brick Lane. An unpretentious place that served up the most mind blowingly delicious Karaih dishes that put yer average English curry house to shame. One of the few things I miss about Blighty ! (well apart from Fish+chips and proper cask ales)

we drove to Galway for the day. Fabulous lunch in McSwiggans and just soaked up the vibrant bohemian atmosphere of this unique city. No wonder its been picked for the finale of the Volvo Ocean Race this summer. Then went to Salthill to see the sun set over Galway Bay.
The Defender has done 9000km now and the drive was squeak, rattle and clunk free. I'm hoping that replacing upwards of 15 litres of engine/transmission/diff oils with decent Castrol stuff has contributed to this ! If any of you guys ever pop over to Ireland a visit to Galway is a must ! IMHO |
