Been out and filled up, so got my first idea of mpg for my general daily commute plus evening and weekend stuff. Commute is 50% A road, 50% city/town traffic.
Worked out at 27.2 mpg which seems pretty good for an auto Td5, based on what other people have said. Slighter cheaper than the V8 on the cheapest LPG I could get. Cost saving wasn't the point though, as long as it isn't costing me more to travel, which it isn't, I'm happy! |

Got one that mounts on the seat rail off Brendan back in the summer, for our Coast to Coast laning trip. Was just the ticket for the iPad, felt very secure and not in the way. Took a while to get used to the wobble and had to lock the screen so it didn't flip every time you went over a bump, but all in all a good purchase. Here it is, still mounted. I've left it in as it doesn't seem to get in the way in everyday use! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

^^^^ The mount takes both the iPad and iPad2 - it comes with some rubber pads and a diagram to stick onto the mount for the iPad2 as it's thinner than the iPad.
I think Pam is deliberately showing pics of the unfinished "block of wood filling the hole in the tunnel" to shame me into finishing it |

Not in the end. A really nice guy to deal with, and very helpful, but I found a decent 300tdi at a garage far more local to me. Thanks for the tip though, will keep him in mind for the future. |

I took mine to have a play At Harbour Hill with the Hilux Pickup owners club.
A great day and at least a few other Land Rovers in attendance, including a black Puma 90. Bit muddy now but it will soon clean up. 2002 Defender 110 DC |
