Yesterday. DC had its CT (French MOT) required as part of the paperwork before I import it before Brexit on the 31st. 130-point test. Was like being a schoolboy waiting for exam results. Cra*ping myself. Passed with only one advisory, worn rear pads, and a comment from the tester (former Tdi owner) that it was one of the tidiest versions he’d ever seen. . Not bad considering the test centre is right next door to the local (and very well regarded) LR indie. Chuffed. Two years until the next test. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Spent yesterday in the dunes with the club.
Click image to enlarge Btw, one of the guys brought his ND (D240). I was expecting it to get stuck often, but it ran rings around all of us, even though this is the softest sand I've ever experienced there. The only time he got stuck was when he tried deliberately to do so to test extended mode + ATPC by doing a short run-up. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

^ yeah, Atlantis Dunes is a great place, extremely popular in Cape Town - not just off-roading, but quad-biking, sand-boarding, trail running, etc.

Continued with my dual battery install.
Click image to enlarge Trying to decide if I like the KBX grill and surrounds or not. I am really not sure if I like the look of it or not, just seems a bit “plastic” |

Take care out there, lots of black ice around today.
I was out today, taking it very steady indeed. A few hill climbs traction was difficult due to ice, if I hadn’t locked the diff I doubt I’d have made a few places today out and about but of course staying local all the same. It was lovely to see the frosty countryside in its winter glory. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
