What mileage were you on out of interest?
This arrived the other day: Click image to enlarge Thought I’d give it a go. Mind you I wouldn’t be locking it and using recirculating fans, just using it momentarily via the cabin air intake externally. No A/C on mine, but still there is the fan ducting. Reminds me, must clean out those air intake rubbers again.. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

That’s not good at all. If it’s any consolation mine required a new clutch at about 43k miles. I asked them after advice here to lube the component you mentioned as well, it was in good condition but ‘dry’ so that tells you the issue involved with those intermediate shafts.
I just checked the air intake on mine the rubber duck bills. Typical clog up as expected, knew I was getting steamed up glass and these were the culprit. Unfortunately, being parked so close to a tree doesn’t help. Click image to enlarge No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

My 15 plate Defender has a new water feature dribbling out on my accelerator pedal..
My right shoe was sloshing when I got after a 250 mile drive up to rainy Scotland. |

Yesterday used mine to pop up to Solihull to do the Manufacturing tour. Nice to see how much goes into the production of the latest products. All those robots and also how they now use rivets and glue Sorry Bonding agents to stick them together.
about 450 mile round trip averaged 26 to the gallon doing m-way speeds in less then perfect driving conditions Click image to enlarge Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest |

Found a good solution to getting under my 90 in the wet and muddy conditions to do work.
You can of course use spare cardboard though too... Keeps yourself, tools and anything else clean too until you are done. Obviously has it’s limits you can’t put it on top of puddles but I had it around this sheet so it worked well. It’s also a bit more “slippy” than cardboard. On grit of gravel you can’t use a creeper so it can be a pain! Click image to enlarge No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Found myself victim to another boost leak whilst on the way down the M42 to London. Managed to get there, and back with some careful avoidance of anything more than 2000rpm. No obvious splits in the hoses, so looks like its another burst intercooler
Time for an uprated one I think as I dont want to be swapping for a third time. 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |
