Cheers. Yes, I'm machining it using a Cyclo which is nice and gentle for Land Rover's soft paint finish. FK1000 is great stuff. I use it on the roof but Supernatural Hybrid everywhere else. Whack some Prima Amigo under it...on black...and you have a really nice finish. I think the last owners brushed the dirt off it with a yard brush!!! So a few scratches and swirls to say the least!! Cheers She's not old...just older |

Just spent a pleasant couple of ours removing the TGE trim panels and foam body tape as the panels have had a remarkable capacity to keep falling off in hot weather despite copious additional lengths of tape. I've now cleaned the hardtop panels again and stuck the trims back in using decent impact adhesive. Steve.

Took my time fitting & wiring the 2 12v sockets in the front of my safe box, kept getting interrupted by #2 son rewiring his model plane..

Unused today but a lovely beach trip yesterday in it.
8.5 miles coast run (hard work - very hilly) then spotted amazing surf. Surfed for an hour with slightly wobbly legs. Again all our kit fitted in the 110 fine and we needed it to get down a very sandy, very bumpy track! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

8 weeks for the part to come into LR. They would not pull a new box off the line and while I was in the D3 I was content, numerous parts were replaced but thee part which was being made was the selector, that's what LR was waiting for. Glad to get it back SEB, camping and trips can resume before winter gets here Watson prefers the leather of the D3 though
LR have offered compensation, just in negotiation |
