My 1984, 2.25 petrol Ninety has been stopping and dumping me in the middle of the road for a year, off and on.

Then it will go again, so I do nothing about it.

Got fed up the last time it happened and only got home by holding the choke out the other day.

So decided to do something.

Not the carb or something complicated, as I thought.

A £1.85 Ducellier condenser fitted yesterday.

Goes really well now..... Idea

That's tidy that.. I like it..
I want one for mine. There is a company that do light bars that change colour.. not that im interested in the rainbow disco lights, but would be nice when camping to have a red/amber light instead of a bright/dim white light.

https://www.auxbeam.es/v-series-combo-beam...-light-bar

The other issue is, they are from the states... so tax on top of price and import duties on top of price... Regards
Adam

On 110 USD, I doubt you'd get import fees if there was it'd be nominal.
You will get VAT @ 20% and a typical £8 - £12 handling fee usually though and this is on top of the shipping paid in USD to here.

If you purchase from eBay.com USA or Amazon.com US.
eBay has the GSP on many items which calculates it all for you, Amazon have a similar programme too.
With these there is no bill onece goods arrive in the UK, it's all paid for up front.

Not always an option though.

Think last time I bought over $100 of kit for import the fees on arrival were around £35 but that was worth a fair bit more than $100 anyway.

Don't be put off, a lot of US kit is great and not as pricy as you think.

Only thing to keep an eye on is sellerscharging excessive shipping fees for items..
For example you'll get some on eBay trying to charge $50 shipping for a tiny envelope sized item fir international delivery. Rolling with laughter
Only costs about $24 in reality to ship. Whistle KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

We were greenlaning in (north) Essex today too.

Found some lanes 10 miles from where I live that I knew nothing about

Included two members of this forum but all the vehicles were leafers.
