Just thought you would be pleased to hear out of the 1800 classic cars on site that the one owner V8 Defender hard top was best in show.

That is quite something, considering the cars that were there.

Have you got a photo of it, Richard?

Great day at the comp, dust levels were epic due to the heat.
Here's a few of many.

I took a tarpaulin as a makeshift sunshade, worked a treat.

A well used comp motor had a big roll, bonnet field fix....

Agreed and the judge is a classic car owner and organises a supercar show so he knows his motors!

Didn't do much, just a bit a clean up of the tyre sidewalls and mudflaps
Decided not to use tyre dressing any more, doesn't last long and a pain to apply especially with sidewall tread blocks.
Does look nice anyway just nice and clean.
Used the Ultimate black from Meguiars on the inner door seals all around and the mudflaps.
It also contains a UV block which is good as well.
I used to use Endurance tyre jel on the mud flaps but did attract the dust, this doesn't seem to do so really and gives a nice finish:

Could really have done with doing really well around the rear mud flap lettering and the bonnet lettering and rear lettering detailed properly but it's a LR not a Ferrari Laughing
Just the interior to go, but that might be within the next month or two and not straight away.
Hoover had to pack up didn't it. Rolling Eyes

Only thing I'm dissapointed by is the amount of power coat flaking, peeling and allowing rust to start underneath.
It really is a pain! KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

For mudflaps. Use Autosmsrt Finish. Spray on and leave to dry for a great finish. Reason youโ€™re struggling is because of the endurance gel. Finish can be used on tyre side walks too

When i bought my 110sw it came with the dear window surrounds missing, so i made a set and incorporated window grills into them at the same time to match my door.

They are very neat. I could see a market for them, particularly in different colours. Darren

In that respect, how are they different from any of the other window grills that are available? Darren
