Re-affixed my front number plate on my new brackets.
Two small bolt fittings before but added some outdoor Velcro as well just to keep it square and well attached. (Even though it is anyway, a bit of finishing off by me really.) Never know if the MOT man may say it's insecure otherwise. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Went for an ice-cream at the Refuge de Miage. Lovely walk of approx 2hrs from the nearest car park, although you can drive if so wished. For those in the area it is a fantastic 4x4 trail, from the car park at Gruvaz, 4km, 500+m ascent (1100m-1600m) and approx 20mins. (NB, access road is only open to traffic after 1800h in July and August). We walked it, but the drive is fantastic and the garden at the Refuge, which also does lunch, has stunning views. Highly recommended

Put my new alu greasable hinges in the truck ready for the trip to Germany next weekend.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Took off the rusted side runners and fitted genuine folding side steps!
it has totally changed the look of the defender from a vehicle with bling side runners to something more akin to the original look of the defender. Also...easier to get in and out |
