Like this. Made two brackets out of thin sheet. Bent one end to 90 degrees.
Mounted using two exisiting holes in the slam panel. One hole each side needed to be slightly enlarged for the bolts to fit through

Nope, they are large hex nuts for the spare wheel carrier bolts.
They are much smaller than wheel spacers. Laughing

The red bits (they sell black too.) are for rated bow shackles to stop them rattling against things.
Wasn't an issue for me really, but picked them up because they are only £3 each. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Removed the rear bulkhead and fitted the full removal bar. And took advantage of the sides and roof being off to attempted to seal all the joints to try and stop the leaks!

Lastnight I fitted my new black roof lining which I got from phil at OEM who by the way is a top guy and sorts you out.

While it was out I sound proofed the roof.

Then today while I was at work Dave from VGS came up and fitted me my new windows which are rather sexy if I must say. Went for the sides an new rear door window to match too.

Overall it's getting to how I want it to look now just need to refit my side steps then sort some new 18" wheels.

Also got a set of leather dash trims on order from Phil which are due next week

Its a Land Rover 90 not sure what blue it is yet, its a 1988 and it is all totally original, even the DT engine, no mot though as it needs a new chassis.
This belonged to my mum which she drove for about 20 years and has a very thick pile of paper work for it, it has took this long to get the log book from the dvla as they kept on losing the "paper work " Evil or Very Mad

Happy days ahead Mr. Green

Nice looking project Clayton Thumbs Up

So what's the plan? hope to see a build thread very soon... Whistle

Thank you everyone for your comments and whats the plan ?

The plan is to do a full restoration as if you have just bought her new, no bling, no extra's, everything original, even the engine will stay, then the idea is to take her to shows.
When time allows i will do a thread for her, so dont worry, you wont miss out Wink
There is still a lot going on at my end and i dont think this will happen this year Rolling Eyes so we will see what goes on, i have been doing a lot of thinking and realistically i cant keep both, so the tractor will have to go to help fund the Landy Big Cry but i'm still not sure Confused 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Found my 110 on a video on youtube

Watch from 6.40 and you will see the car we recovered and watch a bit further on and then the 110 appears.
