I was going to release the rear seat belt mount point and let them retract back into the window surround (to get it out the way of pooch) but I didn't get very far. Seriously tight bolt.

Listed some suspension parts, springs, seats, turrets, turret rings etc on eBay.
( anyone interested my username on there is the same as here) Polybushes to go on there tomorrow too for front shocks, rear lower shocks and steering damper. Went back to genuine as I find they are harder than what I want for my purposes. |

Looks like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon (although I'm not sure I would cope with the full glare of the British sun beating down on me ). Excuse a simple question from someone who admires series - but knows very little about them. I see you have two 80" listed in your signature. Which one is this? |

ian, Beautiful classic Land Rover images, same sort of pics as Land Rover used in the forties & fifties. Thanks, Pickles. |

Assuming the one at the back is your '52 80", what is the one at the front?

Spent a glorious sunny Sunday fitting various recent purchases on this forum to my 'new to me' Puma 110... chuffed to bits with the result. Thanks to camelman for the Flatdog roof rack, looks brilliant, works a treat. Didn't realise how addictive it can be owning a Defender!!

Three trips up to Glasgow Vet School in the last two days with my older Lab Running on the M/way at about 55 seems to return about 30mpg, so I'm happy with that. The big lad has had three heart attacks or 'episodes' as they are calling them in the last 6 weeks, but after a barrage of tests and a 24hour heart monitor, everything checks out fine on him??? So far all they can say is that the next one might take him, or he may never have another one again. On the up side the motor is running well. I see the Landy Wave has seemingly died up here, spotted quite a few Defenders and waved every one - blanked by every one too. They can't all have missed me - my motor is bright yellow! Maybe it's just me
