Fitted my Boomslang headlight loom. I now have the loom, crystal reflectors and nightbreaker bulbs - that will have to do for me (until I can get away with LEDs)
![]() I was also going to fit the DRLs I bought a few days ago, but half way through I realized I didn't have all the connectors I needed so that job will have to wait. Luckily I hadn't got as far as drilling any holes! |

Adjusted the handbrake after fitting new shoes the other week, felt ok but after week or so it was at 5 clicks. Now at three.
Washed and waxed the 110; Started off with a jet wash to removed the dirt. Jetwashed on the shampoo Rinsed Washed with Meguiars shampoo Rinsed Waxed with Carnuba wax Then polished off During waxing: ![]() Click image to enlarge After waxing: ![]() Click image to enlarge 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

For those of you who remember Faulty Towers and the 1100 episode, the red 90 got a good birching
![]() Serviced, then a new clutch then the oil pump replaced - end result is MIL light coming on randomly and a constant P0130 fault code plus other random codes appearing. Friday the clutch pedal decided not to rise above mid way. LR are getting involved next week but I think I can see a common theme to the faults ..... ![]() And to add to the misery, I have been told I have a Disco Sport as a courtesy car ![]() Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

If you like putting in the effort then you might like to add an extra stage and try using a clay bar.
