Hi all,
New to the forum (posted in new members) but wanted to get straight in with a question: I've got the base spec (with a couple of options - dealer upgrades) and obviously want to pop a head unit in. A little research so far seems to have revealed nothing about this really, with "radio preparation" in place, I have located the connector used for the LR head unit but it is not ISO layout......... Does anyone know anything about this and which connector converts this LR connector to ISO? The Transit one looks similar but just wanted someone to confirm if poss. Peter Hmmmm, thats not mud.... Thanks for that, unfortunately I don't have any ISO connections, I have a single, multi-pin female plug with a red centre. Pics to follow but wondering if anyone else has popped a HU into a base spec def....... Peter Hmmmm, thats not mud.... Chris - I was going to recommend you and yours but I thought you had such little issues that you had ISO connectors in yours like mine. (Which you obviously did in the end) No Guts, No Glory.

That red piece is just an insulated insert by the look of it. It should come out. There should also be another connector like that somewhere in there. The wires from the connector and their colour would help also in determining whether it's power / earth feeds or speaker wire feeds. No Guts, No Glory.

There's an even harder way than an adaptor but I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe your only option though if nothing turns up as being available on the market as an adaptor. No Guts, No Glory.
