Total Tecall - Arnold Swarzeneggars autobiography.
From being a kid in Austria, Bodybuilding, property development, movies and politics....He is one determined and dedicated man!!!! All in all a good read, I'm near the end and reading his life in politics. Slightly harder read than the rest of the book. Just an all round awesome bloke!!! "I'll be back" Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |

If I had to relive mine, I might not survive next time Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

The Dream of Scipio having recently enjoyed Stone's Fall also by Iain Pears. £0.01 plus £2.80 from that tax-avoiding lot. ... and some time ago An Incident of the Fingerpost by the same author. All well-written historical thrillers.

The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth....
My absolute favorite, and about the 5th time I reread this political thriller, each time new detail pops up. Has also been filmed by Fred Zinnemann, the movie is equally good with a brilliant Edward Fox in the lead role, DVD still available from amazon...) For the younger generation, story is about the OAS (a French resistance group in post-Algeria crisis period) hiring a contract killer to eliminate President De Gaulle. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
