I believe it was the early models.

New bolts come pre-coated with threadlock.
I've got some pictures at home of the old engine I bought that had this happen to it... wasn't a pretty sight (although the engine had been run for some time afterwards, it was totally wrecked.) |

The problem had been sorted by 2002 when my Disco rolled off the line.

Easy fix is to get your local garage to take the old bolt out and fit a new one with threadlock at your next service!

An easy fix that needs the sump removing to do the job?
